Kevin is a professional software engineer that started his career at PayPal, a large fintech MNC before he found his calling - working at startups to breathe life into products through weaving code. Having to take products from paper ideas to production has endowed him with a wide range of skills, from tweaking CSS, optimising database queries, deploying containerised microservices and everything in between.
A programming language polyglot by necessity, Kevin employs Golang, Python and Javascript in most of his daily work and is generally framework agnostic, always willing to use the right tool for the job.
He believes that teaching should be about simplifying the complicated and helping students find applications for their newfound knowledge, and strives to incorporate that in his lessons.
